The LOW Drifters are a non-profit snowmobile organization originally founder in 1972 as the Baudette Drifters. The Drifters support the grooming and maintenance of over 400 miles of land and lake trails in LoW and Koochiching counties in association with trail groomers. The Drifters provide and maintain 7 trail shelters with light, maps, first aid kits and heat. A DNR certified LOW Drifter member trainer provides the 12 hour DNR Saftey Certificate to more than 35 of our youth riders annually. In the past years the LOW Drifters have contributed over $155,000 to area charities, community activities and scholarships.
